Winter 2007/2008

Ok so GLT has been busy over the winter shovelling, shovelling and scraping snow, ice and more snow. D has been packing and cleaning getting ready to move into her new house which should be happening any day now. (OK, so we've been telling you she's moving for months….and she is….just as soon as her brand new house is ready).

Rob and Lindsey have been working on some recording and helping out with our local women's live music series. They even made an appearance on Country & Western night at Ben's Pub playing some (go figure) new country tunes they learned for the occasion. No worries though - we're rocker girlz at heart!

They've also been working with an awesome group of community women on the Red Roof Women's Music festival, a new and exciting event for women musicians in Ontario. It's a 3 day weekend of live music and camping on a 40 acre property on Lime Lake in beautiful Marlbank, Ontario. The fest takes place July 18-20, 2008, and is limited for it's first year in availability so check out the site and get your tickets fast before they're gone! We're so looking forward to spring now and finishing the recording of our second yet to be titled CD which we hope to have available for our summer shows.
